Wizkid Pays Tribute To Ojuelegba Accident Victims

Lagosians witnessed a scary day on Wednesday, September 2, when a container fell at Ojuelegba and crushed at least two vehicles under the bridge, leaving three people dead.

This and other incessant cases of trailer falls spurred a new law restricting the periods containers and trailers will ply Lagos roads.

Nigerian music superstar Wizkid, while thrilling fans at the Glo Lafta Fest at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Sunday, September 6, paid tribute to the victim of the accident with a minute silence during the performance of his Ojuelegba hit.  Wizzy also prayed for the families of the victim as the sober crowd looked on.
His bodyguards had an eventful outing as they tried to whisk the star away from excited fans on stage.
