David De Gea wants to move to Real Madrid. There’s little doubt about that. But while Angel Di Maria was missing his flight to the United States, De Gea was busy playing for United and making saves. The game could have gone a lot differently had Sergi Roberto scored for Barcelona in the first five minutes. But De Gea did what he did numerous times last season and dug United out of a hole. It was a platform for Wayne Rooney to open the scoring moments later, and for United to go on and win the game.
